Within this DevLog April 2022 we are going to analyze some of the most important updates that we have applied in this last period.<\/p>\n\n

We\u2019ve developed new features, improved the performance of our servers, and made incredible discoveries!<\/p>\n\n

Check Hashtag: Updates and Restructuring<\/h3>\n

We have recently carried out, and we report in this DevLog April 2022, a big update to all the systems that take advantage of our advanced photo control system in Hashtag<\/a>, migrating from a \u201cdirect\u201d scraping to a totally asynchronous scraping.<\/p>\n\n

After our update, instagram has further modified the printing and hashtag management methodologies, so we had to change our management to a page-per-page scraping, which guarantees greater stability and precision in obtaining the photos.<\/p>\n\n

Currently Instagram does not yet show the Reels<\/strong> in the hashtag in the web version, we are waiting for news to be able to implement this change as well.<\/p>\n\n

\n\n

New Instagram Response Timelines \u2013 DevLog April 2022<\/h3>\n

Instagram has recently slowed down the response times of each call within the web version, probably because they are in a phase of great updating of their systems.<\/p>\n\n

To overcome this problem, we have therefore increased the maximum response limit by Instagram, greatly reducing the risk of error.<\/p>\n\n

This has led to a slowdown in the systems that we hope to be able to solve as soon as possible, but guarantees stability in all calls.<\/p>\n\n

\n\n

Hidden like count in the web version \u2013 DevLog April 2022<\/h3>\n

Instagram has officially hidden the like count even in the web version (if the user has decided to hide this count).<\/p>\n\n

We therefore had to update all our control sections to be able to take into account the absence of the number of Likes.<\/p>\n\n

Improved management of docked applications<\/h3>\n

We have improved the management system of all our docked applications, improving the performance and management of the related servers.<\/p>\n\n

We have also integrated a new and more complete backup system, which allows us to return to any state in the time of the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 2 months.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to this, we have improved our monitoring system, both uptime (via the STATUS CHANNEL<\/a>), and through Sentry for the management of internal errors.<\/p>\n\n

\n\n

Proxy Changes and Big News<\/h3>\n\n

After a careful analysis of the performance of our proxies, we realized that some ISPs have seriously lower<\/strong> success statistics than others. <\/p>\n\n

We are therefore working together with our Supplier to gradually replace all proxies, preferring the new ISP.<\/p>\n\n

At the end of this large migration, the control times should result in a reduction of up to 10 times of the total time<\/strong>, and a 5 times higher stability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The estimated timeline for the full migration is a maximum of 2 months, but over time we will replace a few proxies at a time, leading to gradual improvement.<\/p>\n\n

AlexPay: Updates and DOGE node \u2013 DevLog April 2022<\/h3>\n

We have made various internal updates to our AlexPay<\/strong> payment system, which have improved its stability and operation.<\/p>\n\n

However, we are still waiting for the DOGE node to receive the necessary updates to align it with the new chain, and therefore remains unavailable.<\/p>\n\n
