DevLog Aprile 2022

DevLog April 2022

Within this DevLog April 2022 we are going to analyze some of the most important updates that we have applied in this last period.

We’ve developed new features, improved the performance of our servers, and made incredible discoveries!

If you want to keep up to date with changes to our hashtag control bots, engagebotpro, like and comment control bots, docker systems and more, you can’t miss this article!

Check Hashtag: Updates and Restructuring

Instagram Hashtags

We have recently carried out, and we report in this DevLog April 2022, a big update to all the systems that take advantage of our advanced photo control system in Hashtag, migrating from a “direct” scraping to a totally asynchronous scraping.

After our update, instagram has further modified the printing and hashtag management methodologies, so we had to change our management to a page-per-page scraping, which guarantees greater stability and precision in obtaining the photos.

Currently Instagram does not yet show the Reels in the hashtag in the web version, we are waiting for news to be able to implement this change as well.

New Instagram Response Timelines – DevLog April 2022

Instagram timing varied in DevLog 2022

Instagram has recently slowed down the response times of each call within the web version, probably because they are in a phase of great updating of their systems.

To overcome this problem, we have therefore increased the maximum response limit by Instagram, greatly reducing the risk of error.

This has led to a slowdown in the systems that we hope to be able to solve as soon as possible, but guarantees stability in all calls.

Hidden like count in the web version – DevLog April 2022

Hidden instagram like count

Instagram has officially hidden the like count even in the web version (if the user has decided to hide this count).

We therefore had to update all our control sections to be able to take into account the absence of the number of Likes.

Improved management of docked applications

Docked Application Management

We have improved the management system of all our docked applications, improving the performance and management of the related servers.

We have also integrated a new and more complete backup system, which allows us to return to any state in the time of the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 2 months.

In addition to this, we have improved our monitoring system, both uptime (via the STATUS CHANNEL), and through Sentry for the management of internal errors.

Proxy Changes and Big News

After a careful analysis of the performance of our proxies, we realized that some ISPs have seriously lower success statistics than others.

We are therefore working together with our Supplier to gradually replace all proxies, preferring the new ISP.

At the end of this large migration, the control times should result in a reduction of up to 10 times of the total time, and a 5 times higher stability.

The estimated timeline for the full migration is a maximum of 2 months, but over time we will replace a few proxies at a time, leading to gradual improvement.

AlexPay: Updates and DOGE node – DevLog April 2022

AlexPay: Crypto Payments Solution

We have made various internal updates to our AlexPay payment system, which have improved its stability and operation.

However, we are still waiting for the DOGE node to receive the necessary updates to align it with the new chain, and therefore remains unavailable.
